“I need a tablet to set up for my 87 year old father. I want me as a user for settings and a user for him thats blank so I can add only apps I want him to have access to. I see some tablets won't let me erase preprogrammed apps”

Hello Lisa, All Fire tablets do come with preinstalled apps, however you can set up the tablet with two profiles. One way to do this would be, as if you were the parent and you were granting access to your child. 1. Open the Settings menu. 2. Select Profiles & set up 2 profiles 3. Enter your Father's information then select Add Profile. This way you can decide what he has access to, I hope that helps! Have a great day!
