It has a built-in app that allows for viewing of photos. What it can do is limited, but it will allow viewing and vary basic edits of photos. Photos can be moved to and from a microSD card as well. The device will not accept a full-sized SD card if that is the question. It does accept the micro sd cards, but not the full-sized SD card.
