• Yes I was able to move everything from my moms second generation to this one without having to start over from scratch. It made set up a breeze for my 68 year old mom.

• You should be able to as long as you use the same account information and back up the data from the old one to be moved over. Hope this helps!

• Hello LisaC, When you order books they are stored in your Kindle app. You are able to see and read all of your books that are in the Kindle app from any device. You DO NoT have to have a Kindle Fire to see and read your books. Good Luck
