• Best buy used to sell ones that did not have ads. But now they all have it.

• Yes. The ads display on the lock screen and then disappear. I do not find them intrusive at all.

• Yes it does. It can be rooted out but that will void your warranty. I was originally aggravated by this but now it doesnt really bother me.
