“Is it easy for kiddos to turn the device off? I rather them not be able to once it's on so if in car I do not need to pull over to turn it back on. Thanks”

Hi Angie! The Fire HD 8 Kids Edition works about the same as other tablets, where holding down on the power button will bring up the options to turn off or reset the tablet, while a short press will lock it. I wouldn't say it's too easy to accidentally turn it off, the case that it comes with keeps the buttons in a bit of a recess so they're unlikely to press it down just holding the tablet, but there is no way to disable the power button functionality completely. I would tell them turning it off makes it stay off. No stopping or giving special attention if they turn it off. Accidentally -NO! It doesn’t shut off unless they choose to push buttons off.
