• Not for all apps, but some require wifi especially kids videos

• If going outside of WiFi area, we download videos to watch when taking long road trips or sitting in dr offices for long periods of time. You don’t need WiFi to watch as long as you download at home first. Works great

• Yes must be connected to wifi for the tablet to work unless you have complete songs or videos downloaded directly to the tablet

• Hi Chery, Great question! While you do need Wi-Fi to download movies or games, once the download is complete the tablet does not need Wi-Fi to access the content. I hope this answers your questions, have a great day!
