• A:Answer In my experience. You have to hold down the power button until it powers down. If you're holding it for longer than 60 seconds and it doesn't power down, Then you may have a bigger problem. Let the battery die. Then it powers down. Charge it. And if it happens again. Take it back to where you purchased it.
