I've always used mine when staying at a hotel for more than a couple days. Truly depends on the hotel's wifi on how well it will work. You can use a wall plug(preferred) or plug it into the usb port on the TV

If they have, simply call the hotel technician and they will be able to hook it up. This fire stick comes with a USB cable that plugs into the back of the tv where the usb and hdmi ports are.
