The Fire Stick is its own platform for smart services, apps, streaming content, etc. It will give you access to a multitude of different services that you can use and subscribe to such as Netflix, Disney Plus, Prime Video just to name a few. In addition to that, it will give you access to Alexa, our virtual assistant, and access to a number of compatible smart home features and services like Ring. There are a plethora of different local features like news channels that you can access through the News app on the device. It does not have its own local channel tuner, cable subscription, or antenna that would be required to access and watch local channels, however.
