my spectrum cable is in the HDM1 , will fire work null

Yes Which ever HDMI Your Fire Stick is plugged into .hit the input button which on my remote looks like double window .it might say firestick tv or nothing at times go to each hdmi on that double window button and see what it is .get to know your inputs 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 sometimes it will not always say it .hope this helps you

If you have a spare HDMI port, it’ll work. Just change the source input on your TV to different HDMI. But need power source. It is usb powered.

Do you have multiple hdmi slots? If not you can use the stick and just install the spectrum app.
