• The 4k firestick does work well on non-4k tv. I’ve purchased 4 4k sticks and all are currently on non-4k tvs. I’m currently using Apple TV on my 4k set. The reason I purchased the 4K sticks was due to the ability to use WiFi 6 protocol and the overall better performance. I’m not sure what you mean by spps in your question. If it was a typo and you meant apps, then the answer is yes, you should be able to get the apps you want.
