“We have a 24 inch Vizio kitchen tv. We just got the DirectStream TV service. We cannot download the app on to use the service. Will this firestick allow us to download that app? We have AT&T fiberoptic 1000 as our internet.”

Hi helpifucan! Yes, the DirecTV Stream App is available to download to your Fire TV Stick via the Amazon App store. Here's how: 1. Use the main menu on your Fire TV to search for apps. You can also use your voice to search for specific apps. Just press the voice button on your Alexa Voice Remote. 2. Select the app you want to download. 3. I just finished unhooking our old cable service, followed the directions on the fire stick and with my Vizio, had to go to inputs and find the fire stick input. Once I did that, it opened and loaded up so quick. Also, thnew service package now. This was a much better fix than buying a $125 box from DirectTVStream.
