What is the size of the case on this Kindle? null

Hi, I did not buy a case, but a sleeve (see info below). Personal preference, it fits well and I use it only when travelling and I am throwing my kindle in my backpack. I still have my Gen1 Kindle, and for this one, I had a leather case, but the combo kindle+case was a bit heavy. Hope this helps. Really depends on what type and brand of case you buy. There are many after market cases available on amazon.com as well as Amazon's own cases which I recommend just because they're better made in my personal opinion. My wife got an aftermarket case which makes the oasis about the thickness of a hardback book with the same overall dimensions. Amazon's cases are more fitted to the device adding the least amount of thickness which I prefer. My wife's aftermarket added to the weight significantly, again something amazon's cases don't do as much, which when you're buying a device for how thin and light it is, makes a big difference. Shop around, do your research, make sure there's a good return policy (amazon's is pretty great), buy your item.
