There is a specific type case for this Kindle. The battery and electronics are attached at one side. It has to a specific case for this unit. She actually purchased a case on Amazon.

You will need a case specifically made for the Kindle Oasis. This is not the same size as other kindles or readers. This kindle is 6.3” × 5.6” × 0.13”- 0.33”
