is this compatible with xfinity? null

I have Xfinity and it works great.

Technically it's compatible with any internet service provider unless they require a proprietary solution, which is rare nowadays. Xfinity may require you to use their modem/router (either modem or modem/router combo box) but you can still disable the wifi bands on the combo box and interface the Alien with it as a wireless access point. You would want to ensure that you put the Alien in bridge mode to avoid a double NAT scenario which could impact your WiFi performance.
