• This is a great question, according to AmpliFi, they didn't set any firmware maximum to the amount you can mesh together, however, it could be expected that performance would degrade if you were to daisy chain an absurd amount.

• It depends. The Alien repeaters are hard linked to the base unit, so only one of those will work with the base. However, the base units can also be meshed with any other base units for basically an unlimited number of units meshed together.
