“Can this work with an existing Xfinity combination modem/router?”

• I use the surfboard SB 8200 by aaris .. and that modem I bought at Walmart and it works great with the alien mesh router ...I'm not sure is a stock Xfinity modem would work with it I would lean towards No .. but here's what I use above and it's amazing

• Yes, although you may want to disable the xfinity wifi and just use the modem/router as a modem. However, I upgraded to an Xfinity compatible DOCSIS standalone modem and I prefer it to the standard Xfinity modem/router combo.
