I already have one router. If i buy router with mesh kit, and attach kit router as ethernet backhaul, will mesh point connect to this backhaul router. Will this set up work, thanks for your help. null

You can only use a Ubiquiti Amplifi Alien router/mesh point. You can do it by wired backhaul.

Yes that should work. I have 2 routers with one setup as a mesh point. My back haul is hard wired. it works well. I didn’t see much value in the mesh kit over just getting another fully functional router that has a full display. I like the idea of being able to reconfigure as a router if one fails.

Is your router an Alien? If yes it should work. If not no. I have an Alien and I purchased this one to create a mesh point for my network. It works beautifully for me!! I now have complete coverage in my two story home.Alien routers are designed only to work with other Alien routers. I hope this answers your question.
