A:AnswerMy 4 year old daughter struggles with all of the text in the game, but once we explain the nuts and bolts she handles the game just fine. Mostly she just fishes and hunts for bugs, but we've caught her doing some of the more advanced things like crafting (with some luck that she has the materials needed). I'd say your 5 year old's will be fine as long as you get them going initially and are able to answer questions as they pop up. As they get older their island will get more and more advanced, which is kind of cool to see how they progress as they age.
A:AnswerUnfortunately the game only works on the Nintendo switch, unless you already have a switch console and you are able to connect your switch dock to your computer.
A:AnswerI wouldn't wait until Black Friday if you're worried about stock. It's special edition systems like this that sell out really quickly, though there likely wouldn't be a deal on it anyway. Nintendo NEVER discounts their consoles.
A:AnswerI believe a lot of stores are cancelling any midnight or night before releases due to COVID-19. It might be best to call and ask your local best buy depending on your location's situation,
A:Answerit depends on the demand. online, im sure there will still be copies available on release, but in stores might be a different story depending on how many copies they receive at launch and how many people pre-ordered from that location
