Do you need to charge it when you first get it null

Mine only had 2 out of 8 dots lit, so I had to charge it immediately. If each dot represents 12.5% battery life (12.5 x 8 =100), then my PowerCore only had 25% battery life.

You don't need to charge the battery first. Usually, the battery comes with some power when it leaves the factory.

I'm sure it varies, but ours wasn't charged up very much (only a couple of dots on the top meter), so we charged it up immediately. Good luck!
