• I let it charge a couple of hours the first time out of the box

• A lot depends on output of the charger that you are using. Initially I had mine plugged into a multiple port charger and not much happened but once I plugged it directly into an individual Samsung fast charger I saw better progress but it still took a few hours hours to fully charge.
