Yes, it is heat resistant. In fact you can use these bags to cook sous vide style. Although in direct heat, like in a flame would not be recommended.

I have used these for Sous vide cooking ex. an eye of round roast in a water bath 185 degrees F for 12 hours without a problem. It turns out tender like steak. The bags hold up great.
