• A:Answer Yes, it is heat resistant. In fact you can use these bags to cook sous vide style. Although in direct heat, like in a flame would not be recommended.

• A:Answer What I do: If you're heating food directly in the bag, make sure to poke a small hole in it to allow steam to vent. This prevents the bag from expanding and potentially bursting, much like how you vent microwaveable meals. That is what I would do.

• A:Answer Any sealed bag you need to poke a hole in it to vent it before microwaving it. It it isn't vented, it may expand to the point of breaking. Just poke a hole to vent it--just like microwave dinners etc.

• A:Answer Anova offers both 2 rolls in the box OR bags. The rolls are 11"x19.6' and can be cut to the size you need. Two rolls in the box. The precut bags are 8.6"x11.8" with 50 in the box.
