I can't address grounding the antenna. As for the hookup. You will need to purchase enough cable to get from your antenna to your distribution box (splitter). If the cable run is less than 50 feet you may not need a preamplifier (in-line). If your cable run will be over 50 feet you should get a preamplifier. My cable run is 100 feet and I use the Channel Master Titan II and it works fantastic (it needs to be plugged in for power, and is hooked up at the antenna). Sometimes with amplified signal interference is also amplified, so I am trying what is called an LTE filter for cellular disruption. Haven't received it yet but have read a lot about it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1. Please follow your local building code on antenna grounding. Most align with the National Electrical Code Article 810. 2. You can use your homes pre-installed coaxial cable. Every installation is different, however it is common to install your antenna on the roof and run a coaxial cable to where the cable companies entry point into your home is. 3. A signal booster and a signal amplifier are the same. If you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to call our tech support team @ 877-825-5572. 9am-9pm M-F 10am-6pm Weekends CST.
