The "V" in the model number stands for VHF, which is another band for tv stations. It includes the "extra antenna" and a diplexer to allow you to receive both UHF and VHF stations. Depending on your area, you may or may not have VHF stations. Your local station information can be found at sites like antennaweb.com, or tvfool.com.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.ClearStream 4V C4-V-CJM antenna allows you to receive enhanced VHF and UHF signals.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That extra antenna is the difference. That extra antenna is the VHF Portion of the antenna. Most channels are UHF but I had 3 channels in my area that are VHF and required this extra di-pole antenna. Do a Google search for antenna tower locations and there's website's that will tell you the tower locations and if the channels are UHF or VHF. If you don't need channels that are VHF then you won't need the antenna with the VHF di-pole antenna.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The addition of the VHF dipole antenna kit. That's the black horizontal bar that you see attached to the signal reflector.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That is the difference. This is your VHF receiver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ClearStream 4V model differs from the ClearStream 4 in that the 4V has an additional VHF element mounted on the top that picks up VHF signals. It gives it about a 3 dB boost on VHF signals compared to the 4. If you live in an area without any VHF broadcast, then you can save by buying the cheaper 4, but if you live in an area that still has a couple of VHF channels, then you'll need the more expensive 4V.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I "believe" that the c4-v-cjm has add rabbit ear antenna for better reception of VHF channels other than that I do not believe there is a difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They both have the same specs, except that the C4V can also pick up VHF within 35 to 45 miles.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it comes with the angle mounting pole but depending on your mounting location you might need a different pole
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the extra antenna on top is doubling your signal pickup. and that's the difference.
