You have to have a tv that has a digital tuner. Old tube tv's don't not have this. Flat panels have this, older tv's need the box to decipher the digital signal. The government was giving out coupons years ago for these. You should be fine if you have a flat screen.

IT basically means the don't promise you don't have an odd ball TV that can't tune over the air digital signals. NO antenna actually cares if the signal is digital or analog, or what TV it is connected to.

Some older TVs don't have digital tuners. I think most TVs made after 2007 are fine. If you're not sure, you can probably look up your TV model on the web to make sure. If you have an older TV you can get a digital tv tuner converter box. Best Buy sells several types.

If you are in doubt, check your manual or even call the manufacturer and they will know *for certain* if you can get over the air (OTA) signals.
