Yes this antenna is picks up both UHF and VHF channels. It is actually two antennas in one. The wire part with the figure 8 looking center piece is the UHF part and the long narrow black bar that mounts on top/back side it the VHF part and there is a signal combiner that you mount in the middle of the two panels that will connect the two antennas to one coaxial cable that runs down into the house.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As noted by Antennas Direct in their answer to this question, this antenna provides both UHF and VHF reception. However, my experience when testing it was that it provides good to exceptional UHF reception and mediocre (at best) VHF reception. I was so disappointed with the VHF reception that I returned the one I bought before permanently mounting it. It is conceivable that if you permanently mount this antenna in an attic or on a rooftop that you will achieve better VHF reception then I was able to. I would recommend that if you do buy and permanently mount this antenna that you follow the alternate mounting instructions for the VHF component of this antenna and mount it on the antenna mast rather than attaching it to the UHF antenna mount. This would allow you to point the UHF and VHF components of the antenna in different directions if necessary to optimize reception of stations on the UHF and VHF bands (in the event that stations broadcasting on the VHF band you are trying to receive with this antenna are located in a different geographic location than the stations broadcasting on the UHF band you are trying to receive).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the CS4V has both UHF and VHF reception. It has high gain UHF loops with strong UHF reception and a single VHF dipole with moderate gain. However, if the VHF signal is weak, a stronger VHF antenna may need to be added. But sometimes an amplifier will provide just enough boost.
