There may be other solutions, but I have my antenna connected to a Channel Master over the air DVR. http://www.channelmaster.com It works well. Unfortunately, there is no whole home DVR function now, so you'd need to buy a DVR for each TV that you'd like to record on. I'm not aware of any way to connect it to a router. It is capable of connecting to the Internet via wifi. The Internet connection allows you to view some free Internet channels and it downloads 2 weeks of channel guide info. It also has an onboard Sling TV app that allows you to view some of the cable channels you may miss ($20 a month for the basic channels). There are only 2 tuners, so you can only record 2 programs simultaneously or record one and watch one. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check out 'Tablo'. It is a digital device that works with a digital hard drive to record over the air TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had this antenna, no cable for about 1 year. I also bought a TIVO OTA box for about $50.00 at Best Buy about 1 year ago. Using only the antenna there is no guide and I like to go through the guide to see what is on. The TIVO gives you a guide and it is also a recorder, I can record 4 channels at a time (I never have) if I choose. I pay a monthly charge of $14.99 for the service and I love it. That is way less than the cable bill ever was. This antenna is wonderful in my opinion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The connector from the antenna is RG-6. Routers do not have this kind of connection, and there is no signal from the antenna that would be supported by the router anyhow. As far as being able to record, whatever device you're looking to record with would need to have a digital tuner in it capable of tuning the specific frequencies you are able to receive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeap. Tivo or any digital box recorder will work with thing... as long as the time is correct on the recorder and you have the COAX plugged directly into the box from the antenna, you should be all set.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately over the air broadcasts cannot share coaxial cable with Uverse. As far as recording goes, TIVO offers both the Roamio and Prefier editions that will record over the air broadcasts. Thanks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You could hook it up to a hauppauge device to record, I have one connected to my wdtv live and am able to record directly to external hard drive
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't realize there were recorders available to record free TV channels. Is your recorder different than a DVR hooked to cable? My hunch is, no, I don't believe this antenna can be hooked up to a wireless router and recorder. Good luck!
