Is this a UHF and VHF definitely? I need both. null

This antenna is made by RCA. You could try calling them to find out the answer to your question (I don't know) at their toll free help line 800-768-1969 or try online at www.RCAAntennas.net. Technically, its called "Amplified Digital Indoor Antenna" (aka SmartBoost), and I believe the model # is ANT1275F. The only thing it says on the box is that it receives HD and digital broadcasts.
