Yes it does, depending on your area. Go on line and check the distance to the stations that broadcast those signals. Also be aware that signal reach is determined by antenna height and obstructions. Because the antenna is multi-directional it does increase your receiving area. Yes,the assembly of this product is relatively easy, just hand tighten all attachments first before tightening.
