“I downloaded the device driver software and hooked it up to my Lenovo Thinkpad. However, I still can't get it to work. When I search for the device in settings, it still says driver unavailable. Anyone have any tips here?”

You have to download the latest driver from AOC. Google the product name and you should find it.
