• A:Answer No. Simply put, there's one input on this monitor, and it's to receive a USB cable. Specifically, the USB cable that is sent with this monitor. This special cable will have one end with a single USB cable that is to be plugged into the monitor; the other end of the cable is split into two cables, but both have the same USB male ends. I've always needed to plug both cables into my computer in order to get it work for me.

• A:Answer You may be able to get it working by updating all the drivers. It also depends on which version of Windows you are using. I ultimately was able to get my monitor working by applying an optional Windows 7 monitor driver update AND the latest DisplayLink software (Sep 21, 2017 version). I finally got things working with both applied. If Best Buy allows the link, you can go to this page for drivers. http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/windows

After trying several USB to USB from Amazon, I took the AOC monitor to a Best Buy store and the guy that helped me tried several cables he thoDavidught should work and plugged them into two different laptops. No luck. he said my monitor must be bad, so I bought a new monitor. By the time I got home, I realized I should just try the cable from the new one. It worked, as I suspected. I am searching for another cable so I can return the machine. Anyone??

And if you use a powered USB 3.0 hub you can plug one into the powered port on the hub and the other into the other USB port on the computer and they both work and still leave you ports for hard drives or whatever you need.
