• Yes, I usually just replace the whole back-up because the newer models are always a little better but my brother orders the batteries off the internet.

• Yes, the battery in this unit is user replaceable. That was one of the selling points for me.

• The battery is user replaceable. It should not need to be replaced for 2-3 years.

• Battery is user replaceable. A sliding door on the underside provides access to the battery.
