• Yes, this unit has a data port to USB connection that allows you to view the unit from an interface on your computer, using APC software that comes with it called PowerChute Personal Edition. From there you can change the settings and configure your unit to your needs.

• Yes,it comes with a usb cord to connect to a computer to adjust and monitor the unit and shut down the computer.

• All of the ones I have purchase do have a USB cable to communicate with the computer.

• No USB unless it's plugged into the component the back up battery is connected to.
