Unit Has 2 9AH 12v batteries in series. Lasts up to around 3 years. A little Less if you have a lot of power outages. unit & battery warranty is 3 years

Lead acid Batteries typically has a average life span of 3-5 years but this is highly dependent on usage and environment. This UPS would come with a 3 year warranty.
