“Can these units be daisy chained? For example, can I have one plugged into the AC outlet on the wall Then plug a power strip to this unit and plug another unit into the power strip? Would that give me double the capacity? Would I then have 3000 VA ?”

Thank you for your interest in our products. Unfortunately daisy chaining our UPSs would not provide more capacity. We also don't recommend daisy chaining the units together because the UPSs can become overloaded. If one unit kicks on then the other will at the same time and they will both drain at the same speed and you wont really get much benefit from it. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can do that, yes. Just be careful not to plug so many things into the power strip that the first UPS gets overloaded. The power strip isn't really necessary, unless you need it as an extension cord -- you can just plug one UPS into the other. But this will not give you 3000 VA in the same way that a real 3000 VA UPS would. If you need to support a larger load, you should plug them both into the wall, and divide the load between them. If you plug one into the other, you can only support 1500 VA worth of load, but you will double the amount of time that load can be kept running with the power out.
