No, this is only a 900w UPS so it would not supply enough power to operate the gate. It could keep the controller alive, but if the gate was triggered to open, it would overload the UPS. The 20 amp breaker would supply up to 2400w of power if it was fully utilized. The gate motor probably doesn’t draw that much, but if it requires a 20-amp breaker then it probably draws in excess of 1500w and, as I mentioned, this UPS is only designed to provide up to 900w.

However, it's not the size of the breaker that matters, but the size of the actual load (of course) so... if you don't need to open the gate during a power shortage can you put this APC on just the controller but not the motor? If not, or if you really need to run the motor during a power outage this APC might be underpowered - its hard to say. But I don't think your motor is 20 amp though. You should be good. If that's the case you could even have these daisy chained for a longer duration effect.
