You will need to download powerchute app. Install it on the Dell. The software will give you info on how long the battery can power the devices and 3 options of shutting down.

Thank you for your interest in our products. Our BackUPS Pro can trigger computers to shutdown that are running a system like Windows. If the server has Windows on it you can likely connect the USB cable that comes with the unit to the server to trigger it to shutdown.
