It will put out 600 Watts. Youd need to find out the draw of what you're trying to plug into it. But likely, yes you'll be fine. With lots of room to spare. Cable boxes and newer TVs (not the old tubes) don't take much. Even at full load you can run for about 5 to 7 mins.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As long as your backup generator is automatic (a standby unit) and turns on in the first minute or so, this battery backup should be a great choice! If you have to pull out a portable generator, and start it up, and hook the cords up, then most likely that will take too much time and this would not be large enough for the job.
