No way. This UPS unit can run a 27in monitor and desktop computer together for about 10-15min before the battery discharges. It designed for electronics, not appliances or anything with a motor (a sump pump). A sump pump draws current way beyond what this little unit can handle. Home improvement stores sell battery-operated back up setups for sump pumps. They're in the $200-$500 range but that is cheap when compared to installing a full-size backup generator that costs thousands, excluding electrician installation costs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn’t recommend for a sump pump due to the power draw of the pump this wouldn’t last very long. I would recommend talking to an electrician for that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it could work depending on the environment it's placed in. It's designed for an office, not for outdoors or in humid or wet spaces. There may be better alternatives depending on where and how this unit will be placed. Be aware that only half the outlets are battery backed. The other half are surge protected only.
