They should work OK in a dry, but cold area. But, just like your car battery, the UPS battery is less effective in really cold weather - wouldn't run as long.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not wet is good. Cold probably depends on how cold. Batteries tend to have less power in cold weather. The best bet would be to check the manufacturer's documentation. The intended use is indoor, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't work outdoor.
