Okay, I had to check it, but I am here to report that the plug for MY APC 8 Outlet, Power Saving, Surge Protector "Strip" IS a "low-profile" plug that has a cord that comes out on the down-side of a grounded outlet: the grounding "pin" is on the bottom/cord side of the plug. - I hope this helps ALL of y'all shoppers who are wondering whether or not this anti-surge power strip can be plugged in behind your computer desk, or entertainment system cabinet/rack, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The connection is a small flat plug that fits perfectly behind book shelves.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's not a "flat" plug, but it's 90 degrees so the cord goes straight down.
