- Answer I purchased the Apple brand keyboard. It connects instantly (magnetically). It also doubles as a screen cover and a stand. Only issue is it is a bit close to the screen and my wild fingers sometimes touch the screen while typing which moves the cursor. There are other compatible keyboards made by other brands but I wanted to stay with all Apple.
