- Answer Yes you can download ebooks both online or by saving it to iBooks or via the Apple store. As far as night reading goes, the level of light would be a matter of personal preference. I would suggest trying it in store to see if the levels are low enough to meet your needs

- Answer If you are in a place that has wifi it is free but if you're traveling then you'll have to use your data which will cost a monthly fee around $20.00 with the provider such as AT&T or Verizon.

- Answer Probably not. Apple doesn't have a usb port. If you can find a converter cable that is proprietary for apple you may be able to.
