I backed up my old iPad to my iCloud account. From there followed the below to move data to new iPad. Everything was loaded Restore or set up your device from an iCloud backup On your iOS or iPadOS device, go to Settings > General > Software Update. ... Make sure you have a recent backup to restore from. ... Go to Settings > General > Reset, then tap Erase All Content and Settings.
