Yes, you can use an auxiliary keyboard. Bluetooth or not is a matter of personal preference. I really like the Logitech Combo Touch for this iPad. It is a detachable keyboard case that includes a trackpad. It's lightweight, attractive, and functional. Unfortunately, the keyboard is not white.
