- Answer It appears, the Geek Squad does not handle or repair Apple products. I had to go directly to an Apple store about two years ago for a power plug fix. You can ask them though. Just in case it has changed. You could just save it to the "cloud" if you have one set up, and upload it to your new Ipad after you set it up.

- Answer I would personally recommend the "air" version I believe it is that has the stand and keyboard attachment. Programs like Word and Excel aren't quite to my standard as the design is wonky compared to what we see on the computer. The issue navigating and ease of access to those important programs like word, excel, and PowerPoint are what made me opt for the Microsoft surface tablet instead.
  I would recommend:

- Answer I believe you are asking about the use of solid state technology for the hard drive. If that is the question all Apple Ipads use solid state storage in the form of flash storage for the "hard drive" I'm not sure if an Ipad ever had a spinning hard drive
