- Answer To answer your question, no, it is not plastic. What you feel is the fingerprint resistant oleophobic coating that Apple applies to reduce smudging. The reason why it may feel more plasticky is because it is a lower quality glass if you want the better quality glass you have to step up to the pro level iPads. This is the same situation with the aluminum body Apple watches and the stainless steel body Apple watches the aluminum body Apple watches come with an ion X glass while the stainless steel body Apple watches come with a sapphire crystal glass. QuestionDoes this iPad have the option of wireless charging or using the magnetic clip USB charger. My son ks very hard on the charging ports and I cannot see having to buy a new iPad every other year. There is a charger that's a magnetic 2 piece I want to use.

- Answer There should be no issues. WI-FI is standard protocol world wide. Unlocked has nothing to do with a Wi-Fi only device. Data services, ATT ,etc are what unlocked is all about. With this Wi-Fi only device cannot have a data plan - there is on SIM slot anyway.
