No . U should always purchase warranty no matter what ur wallet says
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You only get the accidental warranty if you bought the AppleCare extended warranty. The general warranty does not cover accidents. My two year old iPad died recently for no apparent reason. I went through all online customer support regimes and could not get it to open. Pushed the buttons and nothing happened. Apple does not have a repair system for iPads with the possible exception of the battery. They would also not accept mine for trade in. I was pretty unhappy with the whole situation. You may be able to find a private guy to look at it, put the potential cost of shipping and repair was too close to the replacement cost to risk it. I bought a new one. I figured that since it’s the only apple device I ever bought that broke, maybe it won’t happen again. Fingers crossed.
