A:Answerit's 2020, but I prefer this design than other flashy new designs because it's more durable while the new design is like the Ipad air or Ipad Pro. The new IPad design is bad because there is a small hole for the mic in the mid of the body, which will turn into a dead spot that causes the Ipad to bend easily
